Cboe Warns CboeX and cboe.finance Websites or Mobile Applications Are Not Affiliated to It

​The leading global exchange operator Cboe has issued a notice about a new website - "www[.]cboe[.]finance", through which the fraudulent entity CboeX continues to market its platform and services to consumers.

In September, the exchange has already published two Notices to inform the public that CboeX operated under the domain – "www.cboex[.]vip" in order to mislead and defraud investors.

Aside from the above efforts, Cboe filed UDRP complaints to take control of the different domain names mentioned in the notices, and has succeeded in the complaint about "www.cboex[.]vip". It is currently pursuing a complaint regarding this new website “www[.]cboe[.]finance." Also, it is notifying regulators.

The exchange warned that any entity or person associated with this website "www[.]cboe[.]finance" is NOT connected or affiliated in any way with Cboe or its subsidiaries. Any assertion of such a connection or affiliation was and is false and misleading. It has inserted brackets around the dot to avoid hyperlinks as the website may contain malware.
