As Centroid continued on its mission and commitment to clients, 2022 was a year of substantial growth for the company, marked by many achievements, strategic expansion, partnerships and continuous product development.
Multi-asset Connectivity and Execution Engine
Throughout this year, the Centroid product team has continuously enhanced and further developed the flagship multi-asset institutional-grade connectivity engine, Centroid Bridge.
The engine can now facilitate direct connectivity to multiple stock exchanges, cryptocurrency exchanges, and liquidity sources from various asset classes, making connectivity to different markets seamless. In terms of connectivity to multi-asset liquidity sources, here are some of the key new integrations: Dubai Financial Market (DFM), Nasdaq Dubai, Refinitiv, Mubasher, Iress, Drivewealth, Binance, OKX, Huobi and more.
In terms of platform connectivity, Centroid Bridge is fully integrated with several popular trading platforms, including MetaTrader 4 and 5, CTrader, DXTrade, Wintrado, VertexFX, etc., with additional integrations underway, through newly established partnerships.
All these improvements have benefited Centroid's clients, as more and more brokers are looking to diversify, expand their liquidity offering and platform options, and stay competitive in the ever changing market landscape.
In fact, due to the wide range of connectivity to multi-asset liquidity sources and platforms, offered by Centroid Bridge, as well as the extensive APIs and new functionality available from the engine, brokers are now able to establish and offer their own proprietary Cryptocurrency Exchanges, allowing for further diversification and additional revenue streams.
Comprehensive Risk Management System for Institutions
Similar to Centrod Bridge Engine, the Centroid Risk product has seen a great number of enhancements and new features added throughout the year, making it an even more comprehensive and critical system for any broker's operations.
The system and its new features have been very well received, and, especially in the recent months, there has been an increased demand in the risk management system, as brokers are looking to include multiple trading platforms to their offering, to diversify and accommodate different customers and needs. However, one of the main issues brokers face, in a multi-platform environment, is that data from different platforms is segregated, thus adding extra manual workload, time and complexity when consolidating critical information. This can also lead to miscalculations, mismatches and sub-optimal risk decisions that may arise due to manual risk reporting.
With the help of Centroid Risk, as the system seamlessly consolidates data from all platforms, generates an in-depth view of overall trading performance and highlights potential risks in real time, brokers can effortlessly understand their risk exposure in different models, improve their risk-adjusted returns and optimize operating costs.
Company Expansion
Since inception, Centroid Solutions has come a long way and is now servicing more than 110 customers around the globe. Due to the on-going development, this year has seen the company inaugurating its new headquarters office in Dubai, with the aim to accommodate its growing team, account for future growth as well as welcoming its growing customer base for on-site strategic meetings and training.

Apart from moving to a new headquarters, Centroid has doubled the number of staff globally, to help with the global expansion of the company. In the Philippines, Centroid has established a new customer support office to better service customers. In Thailand, Centroid has established a new business development unit, to help drive the business development efforts in Southeast Asia. These new locations have increased Centroid Solutions global footprint, adding to the existing presences in Dubai, Limassol, and Hong Kong.
Commenting on the recent expansion in an interview, Cristian Vlasceanu, CEO of Centroid Solutions, said: "We have come a long way since we started and we will continue on this path, to expand not only in the region but also globally, while focusing on localizing our solutions to help brokers from different regions to enhance their technology and expand their offering. Our emphasis on localizing our solutions has also encouraged us to add more and more language support to our products, with Arabic and Thai being the latest additions."

2022 was also marked by many industry events, with Centroid Solutions exhibiting at 9 expos, taking the team to Dubai, Bangkok, Limassol, Mumbai, and London. Each event has seen the team showcase the latest developments on the products, hold presentations and take part in important panels, discussing the industry's latest trends, most important developments and relevant topics. Additionally, it facilitated close interaction with existing and new customers, partners and industry contacts, and gathered lots of interest for Centroid's solutions.
Centroid Solutions has also been honoured with industry awards, such as winning several Best Bridge Provider and Best Risk Management System awards.
