Centroid Solutions Integrates CS 360 Engine with TRAction for Automated Regulatory Reporting
Centroid Solutions and TRAction have announced a system integration to automate trade reporting, linking Centroid's CS 360 Engine directly to TRAction's regulatory tools. The partnership, announced Monday, aims to reduce the manual effort brokers face in filing trade reports by streamlining data flow from Centroid's order-routing infrastructure into TRAction's compliance platform. Centroid, a capital markets technology provider, and TRAction, a reporting specialist serving firms in Europe, the UK, Australia, and Singapore, stated the setup eliminates manual data transfers between systems.
In practice, trades executed via the CS 360 Engine are automatically formatted to meet regulatory specifications within TRAction's systems and submitted to approved repositories. The companies said this allows clients to meet reporting obligations without additional software, staffing, or costs. The announcement referenced a study finding that some firms operate over 30 disparate systems, a sprawl that increases costs and operational risk.
Quinn Perrott, co-CEO of TRAction, commented, "regulatory reporting should not create additional operational challenges" for firms managing complex operations. The companies did not disclose any live broker clients for the joint setup or specify the number of mutual clients covered.
This integration is the latest in a series for TRAction, which has been connecting its reporting engine to various trading platforms. Recent partnerships include links to DXtrade, Tools for Brokers' Trade Processor, Spotware's cTrader, and bridge providers like oneZero and PrimeXM.
The timing coincides with increasing regulatory reporting demands globally, including EMIR Refit in Europe and updated frameworks in Australia and Singapore, driving brokers towards specialist vendors. For Centroid, the deal adds a reporting partner to its expanding ecosystem, which recently integrated Cboe data, Match-Trade Technologies' risk analytics, and a bridge to Saudi Arabia's Tadawul exchange. Notably, Centroid has historically offered its own reporting tools; this partnership positions its CS 360 Engine as a connectivity layer feeding third-party specialists.
Cristian Vlasceanu, CEO of Centroid Solutions, said the partnership "reflects a shared focus on improving operational efficiency for financial institutions." Centroid reported it now supports over 500 firms across 50+ countries, up from approximately 350 previously. Neither firm provided a client onboarding timeline or details on potential integration fees.
