CFI Expands into Central Asia with New Baku Office

CFI Financial Group, a contracts for differences (CFDs) broker in the Middle East, has announced its expansion into Central Asia with the opening of a new office in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Baku office was established through a newly formed local entity, CFI Financial Investment Company (CFI Azerbaijan). This follows CFI's acquisition of local brokerage firm AzFinance Investment Company last year, as covered by Fazzaco previously, a move that signaled the company's intent to establish a strong presence in the Azerbaijani market. The acquired firm has since been rebranded as CFI Azerbaijan, aligning it with CFI's global brand.
"Azerbaijan represents a fast-growing financial market with immense potential," said Hisham Mansour, Co-Founder and Managing Director of CFI Financial Group. CFI sees Azerbaijan not only as a promising market in its own right, but also as a gateway to further expansion within the surrounding region. The company aims to leverage its presence in Azerbaijan to reach a wider client base in Central Asia.
CFI has appointed Ilgar Rustambayl as the CEO of its Azerbaijan unit. Interestingly, Rustambayl comes from outside the traditional trading industry, bringing a diverse background in management roles at international offices of prominent companies such as Philip Morris International, The Coca-Cola Company, and MIG Bank.
"The launch of our Baku office is more than just an expansion - it is a commitment to providing Azerbaijani traders and investors with a world-class trading environment featuring competitive conditions, advanced financial tools, and expert guidance," Rustambayl stated.
