CFI Financial Group reported first-quarter trading volume of $2.3 trillion, an increase of 11% from the previous quarter and 81% year-on-year. This continues an upward trend following $2.07 trillion in Q4 2025 and a full-year 2025 total of $6.4 trillion.

The firm attributed the growth to heightened client activity and sustained new client acquisition. Active client numbers rose 18% year-on-year and 15% quarter-on-quarter, while new client acquisition increased 27% from Q4. Net deposits grew by 39% compared to the previous quarter.

Trading was distributed across multiple asset classes, with metals like gold and silver leading activity. Equity indices, major FX pairs, energy products, and digital assets also saw significant participation.

Platform metrics showed over 37.2 million trades were executed in the quarter, a 75% annual and 22% quarterly increase. Funding transactions reached 866,483, up 48% year-on-year and 26% from the prior quarter. Mobile platforms facilitated over 90% of all trading activity.

CEO Ziad Melhem stated, "Crossing the USD 2.3 trillion mark so early in the year is a proud moment for our teams. The record volumes and the continued growth in client activity and funding reflect the strength of our platform and the trust our clients place in us."

Concurrently, CFI highlighted its global expansion, including growing its operations in Colombia. In Egypt, the group focused on regulatory governance and appointed Amr Abdelbaky as CEO of CFI Egypt. The company operates via 14 regulated entities and over 30 offices worldwide.

The group also noted recent partnerships, becoming the official online trading partner for Etihad Arena and partnering with the Kuwait Basketball Association for 2025. A prior sponsorship agreement with the MI Cape Town cricket team remains in effect.
