CGS-CIMB Securities Elevates Michael Oxlade to Global Head of Global Sales

CGS-CIMB Securities, one of Asia's leading integrated brokerage firms, has promoted its long-time employee Michael Oxlade to Global Head of Global Sales.

Oxlade has been part of CGS-CIMB Securities for nine years. He joined as Director, Head of CFD Trading in February 2014, then rose to Director, Head of CFDs after five years. In April 2020, he took on the new role of Managing Director, Regional Head of CFDs, then Managing Director, Group Head Leverage Products until recently.

Prior to CGS-CIMB Securities, Oxlade worked at Cantor Fitzgerald, a global financial services firm serving the equity and fixed income capital markets, as Associate Director, Head of CFD Trading. He was Vice President at MF Global from September 2005 to October 2011, when the  commodities brokerage firm went bankrupt.

The appointment comes after CGS-CIMB's switching on its connection to the private market exchange ADDX​ late last month, giving all individual accredited investors on its platform access to ADDX's offerings.
