Chariton Christou Leaves Tickmill as Quant Research Head to Launch Boltzmann Research

Fazzaco learned that Chariton Christou has parted ways with Tickmill, a multi-regulated Forex and CFD provider, after more than six years at the company. He will shift his focus to found an AI financial research company, Boltzmann Research.

Chariton joined Tickmill in 2017 as Senior Risk Manager, then rose to Head of Quantitative Research in November 2018.

"My time at Tickmill has been an amazing experience filled with valuable lessons, unforgettable memories, and the privilege of working alongside exceptional colleagues and mentors. I am deeply grateful for the support and guidance that have shaped my journey and contributed to my growth," Chariton shared on LinkedIn.

Chariton currently is a co-founder of Boltzmann Research.

"Now, as I transition into this new role, I am incredibly enthusiastic about leading Boltzmann Research into a future where AI revolutionizes the financial sector," he continued.

Chariton noted that Boltzmann Research would launch new cutting-edge products in January 2024.

Previously, Tickmill has lost its Senior Account Manager, Kiri Nicola​, who has moved to Fortex, a provider of multi-asset trading technologies and solutions, as Senior Sales Manager for the European region.
