Citadel Securities Appoints Ioana Scripcaru as Head of Sterling Trading

Citadel Securities, a US-based leading market making company, has selected Ioana Scripcaru to assume the role of Head of Sterling Trading.
Ioana joins Citadel Securities from BNP Paribas, where she spent for approximately a decade. At BNP Paribas, she served as GBP Swaps Trader for around seven years, then rose to Head of GBP Trading in July 2021.
At the beginning of the month, Fazzaco reported that Citadel Securities (Europe) Limited, the British unit of Citadel Securities, disclosed a significant increase across key financial metrics for the year of 2022. As a result of the rising trading income, the UK arm saw a surge in operating profit, which went up 134 percent to $151,406. Income more than doubled to $113,361.
