Citi Announces New Leadership Appointments in Asia Pacific

Citi has announced a series of leadership appointments in its equity derivatives, financial institution sales and solutions, and markets treasury teams in Asia. 

Mario Serafino has been named sole head of the bank’s Asia Pacific Equity Derivative Sales division.

Mohit Singh and Sue Lee has been named as co-heads of FISS or the Financial Institution Sales and Solutions for Markets in Asia, effective 1 January 2023. 

Singh and Lee will be responsible for executing Citi’s Financial Institution Sales and Solutions strategy across financial institutions in Asia, which focuses on client experience. Singh will be based in Hong Kong while Lee is based in Singapore.

Finally, Badrinivas NC has been named as markets treasury regional head for APAC, effective immediately. Badrinivas will be responsible for overseeing the management of Markets Treasury activity across APAC within permissible regulatory and internal frameworks and risk tolerances across the region's legal vehicles, according to Citi.
