Citi Appoints Jose Andres Chavez Trollnas as Senior Analyst

Fazzaco recently learned that Citi has strengthened its income analytics team with the appointment of Jose Andres Chavez Trollnas as its senior analyst in the Institutional Clients Group, effective June 2021. Jose will be based in Las Colinas, TX.

Jose has a strong track record in financial services industry and is an experienced financial analyst skilled in communication and team building. He graduated from Texas A&M University as a bachelor of science (BS) focused in agricultural economics - finance and real estate. Prior to the role in Citi, Jose worked for Wells Fargo, a diversified, community-based financial services company, as a financial analyst. 

“I am looking forward to this next step of my career, and I am ready to continue my professional development under the leadership of Paula Salgar and her team,” said Jose. Paula Salgar is North America Regional Director for Risk Analysis for Institutional Clients Group at Citi.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, Citi has posted its financial figures for the first quarter of 2021. Its net income came in at $7.9 billion, and revenues reached $19.3 billion. The banking giant now is considering to provide digital asset-related services ​​like cryptocurrency trading, custody, and financing because of "very rapid" accumulation in interest from clients.
