Citi Names Chafic Haddad as Global Head of Fintech Sales

Fazzaco learned that Citi has named Chafic Haddad as its Global Head of Fintech Sales to bolster its leadership team.

Chafic boasts more than years experience in Banking, covering Financial Institutions, Asset Managers, Insurance firms and Fintech companies. In his new role, he will be based in Dubai, and will report to Ashish Bajaj, Global Head of Financial Institutions Sales, TTS, Citi.

As seen on his Linkedin profile, Chafic joined Citi in June 2020. During his tenure of office, he served as Managing Director as well as Head of EMEA, Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking. 

Prior to joining Citi, Chafic spent more than Twelve years with Wells Fargo, where he most recently served as Director. Earlier in his career, he also worked as Credit Analyst at Arab Bank.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, Citigroup has named Aveline San​ as its chief executive of Hong Kong and Macau businesses. Aveline will report to its head of north and east Asia cluster Tim Monger.
