Clearstream Partners with Proxymity to Launch Digital General Meeting Announcement Solution

Clearstream, a leading European provider of post-trade services which is wholly owned by Deutsche Börse, and Proxymity, a leading digital investor communications platform, have expanded their partnership to develop a digital general meeting announcement solution.

With the new solution, the companies hope to automate communications between issuers and investors, facilitating better proxy voting and corporate event communications for all parties involved. Through this central platform, issuers of various financial instruments and their issuer agents will be able to "golden record" general meeting announcements directly to the Issuer CSD and onward to intermediaries and investors. This will improve communication efficiency, reduce operation costs, and provide investors with a better investment experience.

Clearstream noted in its latest announcement, the solution is expected to go live by the end of the year and will leverage Proxymity's Vote Connect, the flagship digital proxy service powered by Proxymity's investor communications platform.

Last week, Clearstream also reached a partnership with Canadian exchange operator TMX Group​, planing to launch a new Canadian Collateral Management Service (CCMS) in the third quarter. The CCMS will start with a launch phase involving participants in Canada's secured funding market, providing them with an automated and efficient process throughout the transaction cycle.
