Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 25 Brokers in August 2025

Fazzaco collected the profit/loss ratio data of client accounts from 25 brokers in August 2025. The specific data are shown in the table below:


Among the 25 brokers this month, an average of 27.12% of client accounts achieved profits, while 72.88% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in July 2025, the winning rate of client accounts increased by 0.74%.
CMC Markets ranked first this month with a 39% profit rate of client accounts. FXCM followed closely with a 35% profit rate, and JFD Brokers (32.44%) as well as City Index, IG Group and LCG (all at 31%).
The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital.com, with 82.78 out of every 100 clients losing money. In addition, all the rest of the brokers this month do not see a loss rate over 80% with Capital Index (82.67%) being the exception.


From the table above, it can be seen that compared with July 2025, 11 out of the 25 brokers experienced changes. Among them, 8 brokers saw lower client account loss rates (marked green):
Admirals (-2%), City Index (-2%), JFD Brokers (-4.71%), Earn (-3.45%), iFOREX Europe (-7.33%), XTB (-3%), Capital Index (-0.66%) and LCG (-2%).
3 brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red): ActivTrades (+3%), Dukascopy (+1.97%), and Forex.com (+2%).
Yearly speaking, compared with August 2024, among the 25 brokers, 15 recorded lower loss rates (marked green), 10 saw higher loss rates (marked red). Notable changes include CMC Markets (-10%) and Gildencrest Capital (+13.72%).
