Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 28 Brokers in January 2025, Plus500 No Updates for 9+ Months!

Fazzaco collected the profit/loss ratio data of client accounts from 28 brokers in February 2025. ADSS is no longer included in the report as it has exited the UK market, and Plus500 fails to update its data for 9 months. The specific data are shown in the table below:

Among the 28 brokers this month, an average of 27.93% of client accounts achieved profits, while 72.07% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in January 2025, the winning rate of client accounts increased by 0.24%.

TradeView Markets ranked first this month with a 47.76% profit rate of client accounts. Hantec Markets followed closely with a 42% profit rate, while Earn secured the third place with 38.55%. It is worth noting that both TradeView Markets and Hantec Markets remained the same as of last month.

Other brokers with 30% or more of client accounts achieving profits include FXCM (37%), Gildencrest Capital (36.21%), JFD Brokers (32.05%), CMC Markets and Valutrades (31%), FXDD (30.3%), and City Index, IG Group and London Capital Group (30%).

The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital Index, with 83.76 out of every 100 clients losing money. Additionally, Capital.com (82.12%), iFOREX Europe (81.33%) and Plus500 (80%)* all recorded loss rates equal to or exceeding 80%.

From the table above, it can be seen that compared with January 2025, 8 out of the 28 brokers experienced monthly changes. Among them, 6 brokers saw lower client account loss rates (marked green), including FxPro (-9.00%), JFD Brokers (-2.53%), Earn (-5.13%), XTB (-2.00%), Capital Index (-0.82%) and London Capital Group (-1.00%), while 2 brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red), including ActivTrades (1.00%) and Admirals (13.00%).

In terms of year-on-year data, compared with February 2024, among the 27 brokers (excluding TradeView Markets), 14 brokers recorded lower loss rates (marked green), while 12 brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red). Notable changes include Hantec Markets (down 8.00% year-on-year) and iFOREX Europe (up 7.83% year-on-year).
