Client Account Profit/Loss Ratio of 28 Brokers in May 2025

Fazzaco collected the profit/loss ratio data of client accounts from 28 brokers in May 2025. ADSS is no longer included in the report as it has exited the UK market, and Plus500 has failed to update its data for over a year and will be excluded from next month. The specific data are shown in the table below:


Among the 28 brokers this month, an average of 27.25% of client accounts achieved profits, while 72.75% of client accounts suffered losses. Compared with the average data in April 2025, the winning rate of client accounts decreased by 0.13%.
TradeView Markets ranked first this month with a 47.76% profit rate of client accounts, but the number is not updated. FXCM followed closely with a 38% profit rate, while Hantec Markets secured the third place with 37%.
Other brokers with 30% or more of client accounts achieving profits include FXDD (30.3%) and CMC Markets (30%).
The highest loss rate of client accounts went to Capital.com, with 85.24 out of every 100 clients losing money. Additionally, Capital Index (82.67%), iFOREX Europe (81.33%), and Plus500 (80%)* all recorded loss rates equal to or exceeding 80%.


*Plus500 has no updates for the past year.
From the table above, it can be seen that compared with April 2025, 9 out of the 28 brokers experienced monthly changes. Among them, 2 brokers saw lower client account loss rates (marked green) - ActivTrades (-2.00%) and Capital Index (-1.09%).
7 brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red), including Admirals & XTB (+2.00%), City Index, FxPro and Forex.com (all +1%), JFD Brokers (+4.32%), Earn (+8.78%).
In terms of year-on-year data, compared with May 2024, among the 27 brokers (excluding TradeView Markets), 9 brokers recorded lower loss rates (marked green), 15 brokers saw higher loss rates (marked red), and 2 brokers maintained unchanged loss rates. Notable changes include Valutrades (-13.00%) and Forex.com (+7.00%).
