CLS, a provider of FX settlement services, announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting held on June 10, 2025. The new directors are Brigitte Daurelle, joining as an Independent/Outside Director, and Ryo Terazawa, representing MUFG Bank.

Brigitte Daurelle brings a career spanning over two decades at Euroclear, where she held several senior leadership roles, including CEO of Euroclear Belgium, France, and Netherlands, and most recently CEO & Integration Lead at MFEX by Euroclear. She currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at SFIL, France's largest public bank, chairing its Audit Committee. Ryo Terazawa is the Managing Director, Deputy Head of the Transaction Services Division at MUFG Bank, where he oversees organizational and internal control matters for JPY-related cross-border transaction services. Prior to this, he was Head of the Transaction Marketing Office at MUFG.

Gottfried Leibbrandt, Chair of the CLS Board, commented, "We are delighted to welcome our new directors to the Board. Their extensive backgrounds in market infrastructure and financial services will be invaluable as we work to enhance the value provided through CLS's services while addressing the challenges faced by the FX industry."

The CLS Board now comprises 21 directors in total, with eight designated as outside or independent directors.
