CLS Group Sees a Jump in FX Market Volumes to $1.77 Trillion in April

Fazzaco learned that CLS Group, a US-based provider of settlement services to its members in the forex market, has posted its trading volumes for the month of April.
According to the monthly report, total average daily traded volume submitted to CLS Group came in at $1.77 trillion, which is up 14 percent compared to April 2020. The average daily traded volume fell by 10.4 percent compared to last month's $1.97 trillion. The trading volumes of FX swaps jumped by 17 percent to $1.27 trillion compared to the same period last year. The trading volumes of FX forward in April were $0.090 trillion. while the firgure is $0.086 trillion in April 2020.
The spot volumes of CLS Group increased by 9 percent in April compared to the previous year, with EUR/USD rising by 3 percent compared to the same period last year. While on the other hand, USD/JPY, GBP/USD and USD/CAD increased respectively by 12 percent ,15 percent and 11 percent, compared to the prior year.
Earlier in April, Fazzaco reported that CLS Group has hire Matthew Hill as its Senior Product Manager.
