CLS Sees 6.6% Monthly Increase in FX ADTV for March 2023

Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS), a New York company which offers settlement and aggregation services for the FX industry, released its forex trading data for March 2023, seeing an increase of 6.6% in average daily traded volume (ADTV) submitted to CLS for the month on a MoM basis.
According to the data released on its official website, the average daily traded volume (ADTV) submitted to CLS by product amounted to $2.123 trillion, a slight decrease of 0.2% compared to $2.128 trillion in March 2022, but a increase of 6.6% compared to $1.992 trillion in February 2023.
FX forward volumes came in at $156 billion per day, 23.8% higher than $126 billion in the same period in 2022 and 13.0% higher than $138 billion in the prior month.
ADTV of CLS' FX swap volumes was $1.451 trillion, up 5.9% compared to $$1.370 trillion in the prior month, but unchanged on a yearly basis.
Average daily volume in FX Spot of CLS recorded $516 billion for the month, an increase of 6.4% compared to $551 billion in March 2022 and an increase of 6.6% compared to $484 billion in the prior month.
