CLS Sees FX ADTV of $2.051Tn for November 2023, Up 8.2% YoY

Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS), a forex settlement and aggregation service company, updated its forex trading data for November 2023, seeing the average daily traded volume (ADTV) submitted to CLS of $2.051 trillion, 2.5% higher than $2.001 trillion in October 2023 and 8.2% higher than $1.896 trillion in November 2022.

More specifically, ADTV of FX Forward came in at $201 billion for the month, dropping 1.5% compared to $204 billion in the prior month but rising 37.7% compared to $146 billion in the same period of last year.

ADTV of FX Swap for the period increased by 3.1% from $1.306 trillion to $1.347 trillion on a month-on-month basis, increasing 5.6% compared to $1.276 trillion in November of last year.

Trading volume of FX Spot reached $503 billion per day, an increase of 2.4% compared to $491 billion in October 2023 and an increase of 6.1% compared to $474 billion in November 2022.
