CMC Markets Agrees on the Proposed Appointment of Deloitte as Auditor

CMC Markets Plc (CMC Markets), the global leader in offering online brokerage business, announced recently that, its Board has approved the proposed appointment of Deloitte LLP (Deloitte) as its auditor for the year ending 31 March 2023, following the conclusion of a formal tender process led by the company's Audit Committee.

According to the official press release, this appointment is subject to approval by the CMC Markets' shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting to be held in July 2022.

In addition, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, which has served as CMC Markets’ auditor since 2020, will complete the audit for the year ending 31 March 2022.

Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that CMC Markets has released a pre-close trading update for the first half of the fiscal year 2022​, from April through September 2021, unveiling that the broker is expecting to generate a net operating income of approximately £126 million.
