CMC Markets Generates a H1 Net Revenue of £126.7 million

Fazzaco learned that CMC Markets has posted its interim results for six months between April and September, generating a net operating income of £126.7 million.
The revenue from CMC's leveraged trading businesses stood at £101 million, whereas non-leveraged net trading revenue reached £24.2 million. The pre-tax profits of the group came in at £36 million. Basic earnings per share was 9.6 pence.

"I'm very pleased to see the business is operating well above pre-pandemic levels across all our business lines," CMC CEO, Lord Cruddas said. "This is testament to the resilience and quality of our platform and offering."
"We believe it is right for us to evaluate the viability of separating the businesses in order to unlock the significant value within the current Group structure," Lord Cruddas added.
Fazzaco yesterday reported that CMC Markets has confirmed that it is considering to separate its leveraged and non-leveraged divisions and the company is in the very early stages of evaluating the merits of the separation. Additionally, the company has promoted Camilla Boldracchi to the position of Institutional Services Team Leader.
