CMC Markets Sees 63% Y/Y Increase in Net Operating Income in FY2021

UK online broker CMC Markets today posted its financial figures for the full year ended on March 31, 2021, showing a significant increase in all metrics on a YoY basis.

More specifically, net operating income came in at £409.8 million, 63% higher than the previous year. Profit before tax up 127% to £224 million, that number for 2020 is £98.7 million. CFD gross client income amounted to £335.3 million, increased by 39% than a year ago(2020: £240.6 million). CFD net trading revenue rose 63% to £349.2 million. In addition, CFD active clients grew 34% to 76,591 from 57,202 compared to 2020. CFD revenue per active client up 22% to £4,560. Operating expenses increased by 22% to £184.0 million.
