Terry Duffy, the current Chairman and CEO, has had his contract extended through 2026, ensuring continued leadership for the firm. Meanwhile, Lynne Fitzpatrick, who has been with the company since 2006, will now serve as both President and Chief Financial Officer. Fitzpatrick's long tenure at CME includes various leadership roles, such as Senior Managing Director & Deputy CFO, Corporate Development Managing Director, and Treasurer. She holds a degree in economics from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Julie Holzrichter, after over 30 years of service, will transition out of her role as Chief Operating Officer, becoming an advisor to the company. Holzrichter has been an influential figure, notably driving the firm's shift from open outcry to electronic trading and overseeing integrations after major acquisitions.

In Holzrichter's place, Suzanne Sprague will take over as Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Clearing. Sprague, a 22-year CME veteran, has held several key roles, including Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Clearing and Post-Trade Services since 2022. Her extensive experience spans financial and risk management, including leadership in credit, liquidity, and banking risk.
