CME Group appoints Atul Bhatia as head of BrokerTec
CME Group, the world's largest financial derivatives exchange, announced it has appointed Atul Bhatia as Head of BrokerTec.
As seen from his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Bhatia joined CME Group in July 2018 and had worked as Executive Director of Global Market Solutions & Services for two and a half years. Prior to that, he was Co-founder at Excella Enterprises, LLC, a real-estate investing company. Mr. Bhatia has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial industry. Before joining CME Group, he also held senior positions at ICAP, a leading markets operator and provider of post trade risk mitigation and information services; eSpeed, a subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald, which is now part of Nasdaq; Cantor Fitzgerald, an American financial services firm specializing in institutional equity, fixed income sales and trading, and serving the middle market with investment banking services, prime brokerage, and commercial real estate financing.
Mr. Bhatia got his Bachelor of Technology at Computer Science & Engineering Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology in 1989.
