International derivatives exchange CME Group has issued a disciplinary notice against Oil Brokerage Ltd. A panel of the NYMEX Business Conduct Committee found that, between November 2024 and July 2025, the UK-based introducing broker failed to report numerous customer block trades to the exchange within the required timeframe and submitted inaccurate trade details.

The unreported and misreported trades involved a range of energy futures contracts, including various propane, butane, naphtha, gasoline, and gasoil benchmarks. The panel also determined that Oil Brokerage failed to adequately supervise its employees' block trade execution to ensure compliance with reporting rules and did not maintain complete records of the transactions.

The panel concluded that the broker violated NYMEX Rules 526, 526.F., 536.E., and 432.W. As part of a settlement offer in which the firm neither admitted nor denied the allegations, Oil Brokerage has been ordered to pay a fine of $145,000.
