Coincheck Expands Its Cryptocurrency Offerings with the Addition of Polkadot

Japanese crypto exchange, Coincheck, which is owned by the Monex Group, announced that it plans to start new cryptocurrency trading of Polkadot (DOT) from September 1, 2022.
Polkadot (DOT) is a token used to operate Polkadot, a network protocol designed to achieve interoperability between different blockchains. Polkadot is the first project created by the Web3 Foundation, led by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood. Polkadot is expected to solve scalability problems, such as delayed remittances and high network fees, by allowing multiple transactions to be processed in parallel.
Coincheck said that it will continue to add new cryptocurrency offerings, improve the usability of the existing services, and create new services with a mission to make the exchange of new values easier.
Coincheck has announced new products and services to ramp up its growth plans. Earlier, it has added the trading of SAND and its NFT marketplace, Coincheck NFT has started offering the generative art NFT "Art Blocks".
