CoinList Hits $1.5 Billion Valuation After Its $100 Million Series A Funding

CoinList, a digital token offering platform, has announced on Tuesday that it has raised $100 million in Series A funding, bringing its valuation to $1.5 billion. According to the company, the funding will help fuel its global user and revenue growth over the previous 12 months, which has been driven by a strong token issuance market and its expansion into trading, staking, and lending.
The Serie A funding round was led by Accomplice and Agman. Among the participants are CoinList's closest partners and most active users, as well as funds and individuals from throughout the world, reflecting CoinList's global audience. Funds include HashKey Capital, Alphemy Capital, Broadhaven Ventures, Continue Capital, CMT Digital, DFG, FBG Capital, Fenbushi Capital, GoldenTree Asset Management executives, Hack VC, Jsquare, LD Capital, Metaplanet, Perpetual Value Partners, Rising Tide Fund, and Taavet+Sten.
“In this round, we focused on deepening relationships with our existing community rather than signing new venture capital. And our community is truly global," Graham Jenkin, CoinList' s CEO, commented on the matter. "While we have some great U.S. investors, our new investors are mostly active users and partners in the regions where we are growing fastest – Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. We' re very excited to have them join us.”
CoinList now has users from over 170 countries, with user growth over 42 times internationally, 36 times in the European Union, and 62 times in Asia. Furthermore, its monthly trading volume has increased to $1 billion this year, and the asset staked on the platform has increased to $3 billion in 2021. About its Lending' s business front, the company noted that over $370 million in loans were originated across multiple assets for ecosystem partners in its first year of running this business.
