CoinShares Bitcoin and Ethereum ETPs Now Available on Hargreaves Lansdown

CoinShares (NASDAQ: CSHR), a global digital asset manager, has announced that its physically backed Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded products (ETPs) are now listed on Hargreaves Lansdown, one of the UK's leading investment platforms.
The listing makes CoinShares' London Stock Exchange-listed crypto ETPs accessible to Hargreaves Lansdown's two million retail investors for the first time, through a regulated and familiar framework. Hargreaves Lansdown is the largest UK retail platform to offer these products.
The CoinShares Bitcoin ETP (ticker: BITC) and Ethereum ETP (ticker: ETHE), both launched in 2021, are listed on multiple European exchanges, including SIX Swiss Exchange, Börse Xetra, Euronext Paris, Amsterdam, and Milan, as well as the London Stock Exchange. The ETPs are physically backed by an institutional-grade custodian, allowing investors to redeem securities directly from the product.
This development follows a shift in the UK regulatory environment, including the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) decision to lift the retail ban on crypto ETPs in October 2025 and the launch of its simplified crypto framework last month. Platforms are increasingly providing regulated access to crypto investment products, enabling broader investor participation.
Jean-Marie Mognetti, Co-Founder, President and CEO of CoinShares, said: "This milestone partnership with Hargreaves Lansdown means real diversification will be possible for retail investors looking to balance their portfolios with a truly alternative asset class."
