Connectivity Provider Avelacom Sets up New PoP with Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE)

Low-latency connectivity provider Avelacom has announced a partnership with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) to establish a new point-of-presence (PoP) in the exchange's primary data center, further strengthening the fintech's presence in Israel.
The new PoP allows clients to connect to the TASE systems and execute trades with the lowest possible latency, which is a crucial factor in enhancing trading performance for both banks and non-bank institutions.
The establishment of the new PoP in TASE is part of Avelacom's strategic expansion across exchanges in the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and LATAM, allowing the company to span both developed and emerging markets and diversify trading strategies.
Last year, Avelacom announced optimized network routes to connect Bursa Istanbul, Tadawul in Saudi Arabia, and TASE, doubling down on its operations in the Middle East and encouraging global traders to accelerate their presence in the region for continuous hedging and repositioning.
Aleksey Larichev, CEO of Avelacom said: "We are pleased to be deepening our relationship with TASE, one of the most dynamic exchanges. With this partnership we have extended our capacity to provide low latency solutions. We have the optimal balance between geographic footprint and depth of services. We can serve clients that have certain requirements on trading systems and network latency and who are looking to access the Israeli capital markets."
Issac Nissan, Head of Strategic Products Development and International Relations at TASE, said: "We are proud to welcome Avelacom into the Israeli capital market, alongside other leading international institutions that benefit TASE's co-location services. Avelacom's cutting-edge solutions will allow investors worldwide easy and quick access to the trading on TASE. We look forward to seeing more international institutions partake in the Israeli capital market."
