Consob Orders Blackout of Six More Unauthorised Websites

Consob, the Italian financial markets regulator, has ordered the black-out of six new websites found to be abusively offering financial services or providing crypto-asset services without the necessary authorizations. This action brings the total number of websites blacked out by Consob since July 2019 to 1366.
The regulator utilized powers granted by Italy's "Growth Decree" (Decreto crescita) to target abusive financial intermediaries, and, for the first time, powers introduced by the new Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) and related Legislative Decree No. 129 of September 5, 2024, to address unauthorized crypto-asset service providers.
The six websites targeted in this latest round of blackouts include:
"The Toro Global" (thetoroglobal.com);
"Finbridge International" (www.finbridgeinter.com);
"INCORE-INVFX" - "IncoreInvestment" (incore-invfx.com);
"Coingridr.top" (coingridr.top);
"Gigtaskr" (gigtaskr.top), and;
"Sxr922" (sxr922.it)
Internet service providers operating in Italy are currently implementing these blackouts, a process that may take several days for full effect. Consob continues to advise investors to exercise extreme diligence, urging them to verify an operator's authorization and the publication of any required prospectus before making investment choices to safeguard their savings.
