Cornerstone FS Appoints Asia Payments Team from Vorto Trading

​Fazzaco learned that Cornerstone FS plc (Cornerstone FS), a global payments focused fintech, has hired a payments team from international payment servicer Vorto Trading Ltd (Vorto Trading), for the purpose of expanding its services into Asia, which mainly focused on firms supporting high net worth individuals (HNWIs) acquiring real estate in the UK.

Reportedly, the appointments are expected to facilitate Cornerstone FS’ revenue and profit to boom.

The newly appointed team will be based in London. When at Vorto Trading, the team focused on marketing international payment services to firms which offer services to HNWIs from Asia to acquire real estate, especially in the UK. Moreover, Vorto Trading is Cornerstone FS’ largest white label partner.

“This appointment represents the first step since our IPO towards executing on our strategy to expand our business. This team has previously driven transactions through our platform on a partner basis and will now be doing so directly, thereby generating higher margins. We welcome them to Cornerstone FS and look forward to working together to grow our business,” said Julian Wheatland, Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone FS.

Also, Cornerstone FS operates as a cloud based provider of currency risk management, and electronic account services.
