Corpay has announced a renewed multi-year agreement to continue as the Official Foreign Exchange Payments Supplier for SailGP, extending a partnership that began in 2019. Under the extended deal, Corpay's Cross-Border business will continue to support the international sailing league and its corporate partners with global payments and FX risk management solutions.

The partnership allows SailGP teams and sponsors to utilize Corpay's platform for cross-border transfers, hedging, and other currency-related needs as the league expands to new markets. "Our team looks forward to continuing to support SailGP with all their FX payments needs as the league expands its presence and impact across the globe," said Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer at Corpay Cross-Border Solutions.

Corpay's involvement with SailGP is part of a broader strategy of aligning with global sports organizations to enhance brand visibility and provide financial solutions within international operations. In recent years, the firm has signed similar agreements with sports institutions including West Ham United and New Zealand Football, offering both currency risk management and international payment services.

Such partnerships are becoming increasingly common between fintechs and sports entities. Firms like Neo, Revolut, Ebury, Airwallex, and XTrend have each forged collaborations with football clubs and associations to facilitate FX transactions and streamline global payment processes.

By extending its relationship with SailGP, Corpay reinforces its position within this growing niche - one that merges international sport with fintech solutions aimed at simplifying global money movement.
