CPP Group announced a significant restructuring of its leadership team alongside further cost-cutting initiatives aimed at reducing expenses.

The shake-up will see Chief Executive Officer Simon Pyper step down as Group CEO at the end of September 2025. He will transition into a new role as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Legacy Operations, where he will oversee cash management and the wind-down of non-core activities. Pyper is expected to leave the group entirely during 2026.

Current CFO David Bowling will depart from his executive role on 30 September 2025 following a handover, though he will remain as a non-executive director of Homecare, CPP's legacy unit. Similarly, Chief Operating Officer Eleanor Sykes will also step down from her operational role but retain a non-executive position at Homecare.

The company has pursued several rounds of cost reduction in recent years. With the latest measures, central costs are projected to fall from £10.1 million in FY2023 to around £2.5 million annually. The savings are expected to come from board reductions, the closure of the Leeds office, and other central cuts.

CPP framed the leadership changes and cost discipline as necessary steps to support the group's longer-term restructuring.
