Credit Suisse Adds Ex-HSBC Exec Orazio Tarda as Co-head of Fintech

Fazzaco learned that Credit Suisse has named Orazio Tarda as its global co-head of fintech.
Orazio joins Credit Suisse from HSBC, where he most recently served as Global Head of Fintech who was responsible for delivery of HSBC investment banking product base across advisory, ECM and financing. He joined HSBC in 2005 as managing director of its investment banking business in Italy, and spent more than 16 years with the bank.
Prior to joining HSBC, Orazio worked as an associate for group mergers and acquisitions at UniCredit. His mainly focused on emerging markets banking and domestic consumer & commercial finance. Before this role, Lehman Brothers utilised his services as Analyst Corporate Finance from May 2001 to December 2002.
His arrival follows the hiring of David Wildermuth as Credit Suisse’s Chief Risk Officer, and its appointment of Janice Hu as CEO of China.
