Credit Suisse Holdings USA Announces the Appointment of Morris W. Applewhite

Leading financial services company Credit Suisse announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Morris W. Applewhite as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Credit Suisse Holdings (USA), Inc., effective immediately.

Morris is a senior executive with a demonstrated track record of 25 years general management and P&L experience leading global public and private business service organizations.

According to his Linkedin profile, Morris is currently Managing Director at Year Up. Before this role, he previously served as Industry Group Leader for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance at Sitel. Over the course of his career, Morris also worked at International SOS. In addition, he spent more than 15 years at Convergys, 6 years at Motorola, and 3 years at Digital Equipment Corporation.

Morris stated: "I’m excited to join the Board of Directors for Credit Suisse Holdings (USA) to help advance its growth strategy to drive shareholder value and progress its diversity, equity, and inclusion goals." 

Chairman of the CSH USA Board of Directors Bruce Richards commented that Morris will bring new ideas, energy and perspective to help the company develop and integrate new technology, as well as guidance on how best to support and progress diversity, equity and inclusion goals.
