Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Appoints Andreas Gerber as Head of Corporate Banking

Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. announced today that it has appointed Andreas Gerber, currently Head of SME Business Switzerland, as the new Head of Corporate Banking assuming overall responsibility for the Corporate Banking business as of January 1, 2021. Andreas Gerber will thus also become a Member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. and of the Management Committee of Swiss Universal Bank. He succeeds Didier Denat, the current Head of Corporate Banking, who has decided to pursue a new professional challenge.

Andreas Gerber has spent more than 30 years at Credit Suisse and has held various positions in corporate banking since he joined the bank in 1989. His roles have included advising listed large corporates, managing the corporate banking business in Region Mittelland, and leading the corporate banking business in Region Zurich/Schaffhausen. 

Andreas Gerber has served as Head of SME Business Switzerland since April 2015. He has also been Chairman of the Swiss Venture Club (SVC), the largest network of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Switzerland, since September 2017.
