Crypto Payments Firm TripleA Becomes the First Investee Of Insignia Ventures’ Moonshot Fellowship

Singapore-based crypto payment solutions platform TripleA has closed its $4 million funding round, as per Fazzaco last week. The company became the first investee of Insignia Ventures Partners' Moonshot Fellowship, the Southeast Asia venture capital firm's program to invest in and support ventures building important infrastructures and laying the foundations for the still-nascent web3 ecosystem.

This round, which is led by zVentures, Razer's corporate venture arm, unlocks strategic opportunities for TripleA, including greater access to Razer's gaming community as a key vertical for the crypto payments platform. Also, TripleA is added to the Moonshot Fellowship, where, in addition to receiving funding, TripleA becomes part of a community of fellow web3 ventures in the region receiving shared support in navigating the challenges of scaling in emerging markets.

According to the official press release, TripleA is the first crypto payments company that secured the Digital Payment Token licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). With the license, it can deliver end-to-end crypto payment services for businesses in full compliance with global regulatory standards.

Further, TripleA has been tapped as the global cryptocurrency payment gateway for Binance Pay, which is the bridge between Binance, a cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, and the retail world.
