Crypto.com Announces Support to Cosmos Hub’s Upgrade

​The cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com announced on Monday that it has supported Cosmos Hub, a blockchain which serves as the economic center of Cosmos, to upgrade at block height 6910000, as Cosmos, a decentralized network of independent parallel blockchains, has introduced the Gravity DEX protocol to the Hub.

According to the exchange, the adoption of the Gravity DEX protocol brings an Inter-blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC) compatible DEX to the Hub.

To ensure the safety of users’ funds during and after the upgrade, Crypto.com temporarily suspended ATOM (the primary token of the Cosmos Hub) deposits/withdrawals in both the Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange starting from 12 July 2021, 16:00 UTC.

Whereas, ATOM trading were not affected.

Shortly before, Fazzaco reported that Crypto.com has received an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA)​.
