Crypto.com Appoints FX Veteran as Global Head of Exchange

​​Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com has named Giuseppe Giuliani as its new Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Exchange, bolstering its leadership amid efforts to expand its institutional and retail footprint. Giuliani, who joined the platform in 2022 as Managing Director, brings over four years of prior experience from Kraken, where he held roles including Global Head of Institutional Relationships and Services.

Crypto.com Co-Founder and CEO Kris Marszalek emphasized Giuliani's dual expertise in traditional finance and digital assets, stating, "Giuseppe is a unique talent…[he] is well-positioned to continue bridging the legacy financial industry with the cryptocurrency economy." Before his tenure at Kraken, Giuliani worked in forex sales at Swissquote and led institutional sales teams across Europe and Latin America.
