Crypto.com Secures Henrik Johansson as Global Head of Growth

Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com yesterday announced the appointment of Henrik Johansson as its Global Head of Growth.

Henrik brings with a proven track record of growing internet services, products and platforms through marketing, business development and partnerships.

He joins Crypto.com from Spotify, where he spent for more than 7 years and most recently served as Acting Managing Director of Spotify Japan. Before this role, he worked as the Head of Global User Growth, overseeing the global teams responsible for Growth Campaigns, Growth Marketing, Growth Segmentation and Lifecycle Programs.

Prior to joining Spotify, Henrik worked at DeNA, a Japanese provider of mobile portal and e-commerce websites, from May 2009 to October 2013. Over the course of his career, Henrik held various positions in different companies including SGI Japan, Ltd, Silicon Studio Corp., Linkoping University, Des Formes and NVIS.

​Recently, Crypto.com has received an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license​ from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). With the new license, Crypto.com will be able to issue cards and bank transfers to consumers in the region.
