BSV (Bitcoin Satoshi Vision) Blockchain Association announced that BSV would be listed on Huobi Japan in June, becoming the 15th cryptocurrency listed on the exchange platform. Upon the listing, Japanese residents will be able to buy, sell and trade BSV via mobile devices or PCs for the first time ever.

BSV has been included in a short, highly selective list of cryptocurrencies available on Huobi and in the country as a whole due to the strict regulations on blockchain tokens by Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA).

Speaking at the inaugural BSV Global Blockchain Convention in Dubai, Patrick Prinz, Managing Director of BSV Blockchain Association, said: "We've been working nonstop with businesses and officials across the globe, including Japan, to educate and inform just how transformative BSV can be. The Huobi listing of BSV demonstrates the direction that Japan is going when it comes to exploring the possibilities and solutions that blockchain technology can provide to its businesses and citizens."

Japan was one of the first countries to admit cryptocurrencies in its financial system. However, after the massive hack of Coincheck in January 2018 that cost more than $500 million, the country began to adopt stricter rules for cryptocurrencies.

The BSV Blockchain Association said that the FSA's approval of BSV for trading on the Huobi Japan opens up the possibility for the cryptocurrency to be listed on other exchanges in this country.

About BSV Blockchain

BSV blockchain is the only global public chain that complies with the purpose of the Bitcoin White Paper issued in 2008. It has four core features: stability, scalability, security and support for secure instant transactions.

BSV is the native cryptocurrency of Bitcoin Satoshi's Vision (BSV), sometimes called Bitcoin SV: a blockchain created in 2018 after a hard fork from the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, which in turn was a hard fork of the original Bitcoin blockchain.
