CTO Troels Madsen Parts Ways with Finalto after 10 Years

Fazzaco learned that Troels Madsen, CTO at Finalto, a market leaders in next-generation multi-channel trading software, systems and liquidity services, where he has been for over 10 years, has decided to step down.

As seen on his LinkedIn, Madsen served as CTO of CFH Clearing (rebranded as Finalto) from September 2010 to May 2021. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, he was a key player in building complete financial trading system / business from scratch through successful sale to Playtech PLC. Also, he was in charge of managing the development teams (inhouse and outsourced) and the IT admin / operations team.

Previously, he has been with Saxo Bank for 10 years, from February 1999 to August 2009, as Chief Solution Architect.

Finalto was the financial division of Playtech PLC, a global and well established business traded on London Stock Exchange’s Main Market and a constituent of the FTSE 250 index. In May, the parent company has sold Finalto for up to $210 million to a consortium led by Barinboim Group.
