CySEC Announces Withdrawal of Hoch Capital’s CIF License

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) confirmed on Friday that it has withdrawn the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) License of Hoch Capital Ltd.
The CySEC stated that on its meeting of 28 March 2022, it has decided, pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05, to withdraw the Cyprus Investment Firm authorisation with Number 198/13 of Hoch Capital Ltd, due to the company's decision to expressly renounce it.
Hoch Capital was offering trading services in the UK under the brands iTrader and tradeATF. Earlier in 2020, the Cyprus watchdog has partially suspended the licenses of Hoch Capital. In addition, Hoch Capital has reached a settlement agreement with CySEC to resolve charges that violated the Cypriot investment laws between January 2018 and April 2020.
