CySEC Grants Authorisation for Merger Between UCITS GMM Funds

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission(CySEC) announces that, at its meeting of 16th May 2022, has decided, pursuant to article 85(1) of the Open-Ended Undertakings for Collective Investment Law 2012 until 2021 ('the Law'), to grant authorisation for the merger of the investments compartments of the UCITS GMM FUNDS, named the GMM Development Balanced Fund and GMM Cyprus Assets Bond Fund (the merging UCITS) with the UCITS Hellas – Cyprus Recovery Fund A/K (the receiving UCITS).

It is noted that, as per article 83 of the Law, the investments compartments GMM Development Balanced Fund and GMM Cyprus Assets Bond Fund are dissolved, without going into liquidation and, all their assets and liabilities, are transferred to the UCITS Hellas– Cyprus Recovery Fund A/K.
