CySEC Issues Warning Against Unauthorized Investment Websites

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today has issued a public warning concerning a list of unauthorized investment firms. The regulator explicitly stated that the following websites do not belong to entities that have been granted authorization for the provision of investment services or the performance of investment activities, as stipulated in Article 5 of Law 87 (I)/2017:

CySEC urged investors to consult its official website (www.cysec.gov.cy) prior to conducting business with any investment firms. This is to ensure they ascertain which entities are properly licensed to provide investment services and/or activities in Cyprus.
