CySEC Revokes CIF Authorization of ΚΑΒ Strategy Ltd

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced today the withdrawal of the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorisation with Number 058/05 of ΚΑΒ Strategy Ltd.

The decision to revoke the CIF authorisation of the aforementioned broker was made on the Cypriot regulator's meeting of 26th June 2023, pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05.

ΚΑΒ Strategy Ltd received its CIF license back in June 2005.

CySEC explained that it made the decision because ΚΑΒ Strategy Ltd has voluntarily renounced the authorisation.

Last month, the CySEC has updated its blacklist of unregulated entities, with the addition of nine websites​ that belong to an entity which provides investment services and conducts investment activities without authorization.
