CySEC Withdraws CIF License of Globia Wealth Ltd

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced on Tuesday that it has decided to withdraw the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) License with Number 318/17 of Globia Wealth Ltd, due to the company's decision to expressly renounce it.

According to the cypriot regulator, the decision was made pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05.

Globia Wealth Ltd(company registration number ΗΕ 358345) received CIF license back to February 21, 2017. Its approved domain by the watchdog redirects to an Asian porn website as of press time. The company hasn’t provided any details on the reasons behind the decision to withdraw from the CIF license yet.

The latest announcement made a few days after CySEC announced its decision to suspend the CIF authorisation of Depaho Ltd​, due to the suspicion of alleged violations in almost 12 articles.
