The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has revoked the Cyprus Investment Firm license of TTCM Traders Trust Capital Markets Ltd. The CFDs broker, which offered leveraged trading in forex, indices, commodities, metals, and shares, voluntarily renounced its authorization. CySEC stated the withdrawal was enacted via a decision made earlier this year and published today.

This case aligns with a broader trend of firms voluntarily surrendering their Cypriot licenses, a path previously taken by others such as Fibo Markets. CySEC confirmed TTCM's authorization is formally removed and is not subject to judicial review. In a related 2024 action, the regulator withdrew the license of Forextime Ltd as it exited the Cypriot regulatory regime.

Separately, CySEC has issued new reporting instructions for EU investment firm branches operating in Cyprus, including CFD brokers, and registered crypto asset service providers. Firms must submit prior-year statistical data via the regulator's electronic system, with submissions validated through a feedback file. Non-compliance may result in administrative penalties.

Furthermore, CySEC announced it will conduct on-site inspections and desk-based reviews in 2026 as part of a wider European Securities and Markets Authority supervisory exercise. These reviews will assess compliance in areas including staff remuneration, platform design, and conflicts of interest.
