Daniel Gladding Joins eToro UK as Chief Risk Officer from OvalX

Fazzaco learned that eToro UK, the British arm of the world's leading social investment network eToro, has appointed Daniel Gladding as its new Chief Risk Officer.
"I'm delighted to share that I've joined eToro UK as Chief Risk Officer," Daniel posted on LinkedIn. "Exciting to be working in the world of zero commission stocks, real crypto, derivatives, copytrading, debit cards, e-wallets and much more!"
He joined eToro UK from OvalX, a spread-betting and CFD provider, where he worked as Group Chief Risk Officer for two years and six months. Prior to that, he was Head of Risk, Director at Admirals, a retail Forex and CFDs broker.
Daniel founded a data science training school for individuals and corporates, Step Function, in October 2016, then he left the firm in November 2020.
Between March 2018 and October 2019, Daniel served Capital Index, a global online brokerage specialising in CFDs, and Financial Spread Betting. He initially held the role of Global Head of Risk. He rose to COO, Director after eleven months, with remits of managing the IT, Risk and Quantitative Analytics teams.
Previously, Daniel has spent five years and nine months at the retail Forex brokerage GAIN Capital as Vice President - Risk Management / Quantitative Analytics. His multiple positions also included Manager, Binary Options Desk at GFT Global Markets UK LTD for over three years and Market Maker at IG Group for five years.
