Daniel King Departs from Plus500 as Non-Executive Director

Fazzaco learned that Daniel King has announced his departure from the role of Non-Executive Director at Plus500, a global multi-asset fintech group operating technology-based trading platforms.
After spending over nine years at the firm, Daniel unveiled via social media that his tenure in the company came to an end.
"After 9 years with Plus500 I will be stepping down as a Non-Executive Director as local law only allows me to serve 9 years,"Daniel said."I joined in 2013 just prior to our IPO on the AIM market where we listed with a market cap of $200m. Fast forward to 2022 and today we are a FTSE 250 company with a market cap of $2B."
"I am truly grateful to have been given the opportunity to join the company back in 2013, and am honoured and privileged to have worked with the most amazing exec team, board and advisors - past and present, and the company and people will always be a big part of my life. I wish the company much continued success and will now be cheering them on from the sidelines. It's a goodbye but not a farewell."
Daniel is currently a Venture Partner with Seedcamp, one of Europe's largest Venture Capital firms for early stage funding. He is also Chair of StitcherAds a platform for social commerce. Previously, he was President & COO for Profitero, a SaaS provider of online insights and e-commerce intelligence for retailers and brands and prior to that was a specialist consultant to the UK Government working for the Department of Investment and Trade (DIT) as Head of High Growth & Emerging Markets.
Daniel was previously Managing Partner of Blue Leaf Capital, a private boutique venture capital and advisory services company based in London and has held managing director roles with Compete Inc, MySupermarket.co.uk, and Experian Hitwise, overseeing its EMEA operations and was a key member of staff that led to the eventual acquisition of Hitwise by Experian in June 2007.
